I got my first Cannon Camera back in 1997 when I was a Junior in high school, that’s when my love for photography began! I often made my friends pose for pictures out at the falls or in somebody’s pasture. I carried my love of Photography and Art into College, where I graduated Phi-Theta-Kappa with a Degree in ART with an emphasis in Photography & Graphic Design.
My work is inspired by Fashion Magazines, Runways, and today’s Pop Culture. I love keeping up with today’s fashion trends and photography styles. Although I do specialize in SENIORS and YOUTH SPORTS, I also love to work with couples & families. All my work is done outdoors in natural light, as I do not have a studio yet…my goal to open a Photography Studio in Downtown Pawhuska, OK.
“Often Imitated, Never Duplicated”
Although I have seen that my work is often imitated, by other self proclaimed photographers in my target market area, I do not copy other photographers work trying to claim the ideas as my own by going to their locations and using their poses, etc. I feel photography is an Art form and should be treated as such. I apply an Artistic Approach to each PhotoShoot using out of the box UNIQUE, HIP, URBAN locations to give each session Individuality – No two sessions are ever the same! I try to think of each session as a new Art Project, and often hear from my clients that they feel like they are on a real fashion PhotoShoot.
